To Swell and back

Well, after almost two years sans carting gear, pre-gig dread and 'where's my capo?' panic, Constant Supply finally returned to the stage. Swell Festival's picturesque new site on Arranmore Island was the perfect, albeit windy as fuck, location. With two new members in tow, Eoin Gildea (guitar and every keyboard ever invented) and Justin McDaid (the drums), we nervously kicked off at 9pm. Managing to withstand wrong pedal settings, wrong keyboard settings, wrong brain settings, guitar straps coming off mid-song and one or two missed cues, we had an absolute blast. The main reason being the wonderful, receptive people that came to watch. Yas made it a memorable night for us, thanks! Got to see some wonderful live music whilst we were there too, none more so than the two bands we were sandwiched between, Cherym and Aul Boy, deadly stuff. Huge thanks to Orri and John for having us, you and all the Swell family did a wonderful job in very tough conditions, fair play. And so it's on to the next one for us, Sin-é in Dublin this Saturday night. No need to panic, sure that's ages away yet...
